Mary enjoys painting the beauty that exists in God’s creation, and interpreting it through portraits and landscapes, oils and pastels. She Attended art school at Columbus College of Art and Design, and received a B.F.A. in painting and printmaking from West Virginia University and has also studied portraiture under nationally known portrait artists. She also maintains a clay studio! Mary’s love of art is evident in her own art classes where she shares her enthusiasm through her teaching.

Anne Harkness

Mrs. Harkness chooses subject matter that may consist of dreamy fantasies, vibrant portraitures, crisp close ups in nature, charming songs and sayings, or refreshing land or cityscapes. Her mediums range from acrylics, colored pencils and watercolors with oil pastels. Anne has done works ranging from 1”square to 9’x30’. Each creation is composed and arranged with the eye of a graphic designer infusing each piece with a graceful order and balance. Take a moment to glimpse the world through her eyes.

Initially inspired to paint by her desire to tell the story of her family, Janine began painting simple scenes, then expanded her scope. Her primary focus is landscape, and she also enjoys painting the beauty and complexity of single elements of nature, such as a simple bird’s nest.

The combinations of color and textures of yarns have always been inspiring to Jane, creating seemingly endless possibilities. It is from this fascination with fibers that she learned to hand felt wool. From Me To Ewe focuses on hand-felted wool designs, with a few unique selections of knit and crochet pieces.

Gerry McElroy is a graduate of Parsons School of Design and a former fashion designer in NYC. She now lives in Davidson, NC with her husband and three sons and continues to pursue her passion for drawing the female figure.

Adrian Chu Redmond, born in New York City, currently resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband and three children. Adrian has had her oil paintings represented at several area galleries. For Redmond, the challenge of painting contributes to her inspiration.
